ALL NEW MEMBERS IN THE CRIMSON KNIGHTS MUST READ THE FOLLOWING CODE OF CONDUCT AND AGREE TO FOLLOW IT.

After reading this Code of Conduct, all Prospective Members are required to post a reply to this thread. Simply tell us the name of your character, and that you agree to uphold this Code.

Current Members are asked to check this thread for their agreement post, prior to inviting the person into the guild.

Membership requirements:

  • The Crimson Knights adhere to our Code of Honor.

  • Members who violate the code may be dismissed from the guild.

  • Prospective members must agree to our Code of Honor before being admitted to the guild.

  • Members within the Crimson Knights are responsible for ensuring that anyone they invite to the guild understands and accepts our Code of Honor BEFORE inviting them into the guild. MAKE SURE THEY HAVE READ IT!

  • We encourage prospective members to participate in at least one quest or event before joining the guild. Grouping with members of the guild will help the prospect determine if we fit their playstyle and ideals.

  • All levels, genders, classes and races are welcome to apply for membership in the Crimson Knights.

The Crimson Knights Code of Honor:

  • All disputes within the clan should be taken to a Council Member. You can contact a member of the Council at any time through the forums on this site in a private message. We prefer that you attempt to seek satisfaction by private message or in-game communication before taking it public in the general forums.

  • Respect other members of the Order. Respect from others is earned by giving respect to others. The Crimson Knights are a noble guild created with a noble purpose. Disrespect destroys everything that the guild is attempting to preserve. Have respect for your fellow members, as well as people outside the guild. In turn, they will respect you.

  • Be trustworthy, courteous and honorable to all people in WoW. As a member of the Crimson Knights, you are a representative of the guild in your dealings with others. Be fair and honest in your dealings, trades, duels and language with all that you meet.

  • Support those in need, within your abilities. It is your knightly duty to help those in need whenever possible. This might mean helping someone outside the guild kill a monster, or complete a quest. It does not mean you have to entertain every beggar in the streets or provide for them, or cause yourself hardship to do so.

  • Be self-sufficient. While the Crimson Knights are willing to provide for our members in times of need, we also expect that you make every effort to provide for yourself. Do not beg - for money, items, or anything else. Requesting assistance, (for help with corpse recovery or a quest) is acceptable. Spamming guild chat or a town's channels, or going from person to person asking "Can you give me some ____" is not acceptable behavior.

  • We do not advertise for guild members. We accept people who seek our guild of their own free will, and because they want a guild that upholds a high standard. We do not ask in chat channels for people to join us, nor do we accept any member who has not read this Code of Conduct and agreed to uphold it.

  • We also do not gouge for our services. A fair price may be asked, certainly, but do not take advantage of others in order to scrape the last penny from a pour soul.

  • Promote teamwork. As a military organization, teamwork is critical to success. When questing or hunting with a group, be alert for commands from your leader, and provide information promptly when required. It is very satisfying to be part of an organized, successful and efficient team. Quest participants and leaders are expected to read and follow the Quest Guidelines.

  • While we try to be mature in our dealings with others, we also need to remember that not all our members are adults. Please moderate your language in guild chat and other public chat. This includes "objectionable" subject matter as well as specific words. "The existence of a chat filter does not make the use of obscenities acceptable." All Allegiance/Guild chat should follow the Chat Guidelines. Public chat (which includes the Guild Channel) must be kept to a "PC13" rating. If you wouldn't say it in front of a thirteen year old child, take it to a whisper.

  • When we PvP, we fight honorably, and are courteous in our language. Inappropriate or offensive conduct will not be tolerated.

  • Have fun! After all, this is a game. The Crimson Knights was formed so that we could have more fun playing with others. Establish relationships with your peers, and enjoy all that WoW has to offer. If you see something that is not to your liking, bring it to the attention of the Council for resolution.
